Wine Cellar opens at 5:00PM, dinner begins at 5:30PM.  Please call 208-556-5648 for reservations. 

 

Pre payment wil be required.  Cancellations will have to be resold to receive a refund.

We are Family

Blackboard Marketplace is a family owned and operated business that began as a 24 seat restaurant in 2016.  The restaurant, Blackboard Cafe, is under the direction of Chef and owner Rob Wuerfel.  Rob's culinary background started when he worked in kitchens to help support a career as a ski racer.  A ski accident cut his race career short, but he didn't skip a beat and dove head first to perfect his love for cooking under the direction of truly gifted chefs in France, Park City, Reno, and LA.  Luanne is Rob's wife and business partner.  Having a background in the resort industry as a buyer, event manager, and food & beverage director, it came natural to add The Fox & The Hare Mountain Wear and Todd's Bookstore & Coffee to their business venture.  What Rob and Luanne enjoy most is collaborating on new business ideas, which is how the Chef's Table & Wine Cellar was developed.  Their mutual love of unique foods and fine wines made the decision easy to utulize the basement space of their 25,000 sq ft commercial building.  The culinary team at Blackboard Cafe allows Rob the time to explore different cooking methods and show off his culinary skills during the Chef Table dinners.  Not only do guests get to experience unique foods and gourmet dishes, but Rob and Luanne treat their guests as if you were dining in their home.  The dinners allow guests to get to know one another while sharing their love for food and wine.
